If you like building your own pipeline, owning a number, and working closely with the big data platform vendors, this could be a strong fit.Comp$130K Base$260K OTE, with accelerators post-quota attainmentThe seatsSoutheast - DC down to FloridaMidwest, based in the Chicago areaBoth roles are remote, with roughly 30–50% travelThe jobYou'll be a front-line seller. You'll go after named large and upper mid-market accounts in retail and consumer goods, healthcare and life sciences, public sector, and manufacturing. You'll sell the firm's full range of services, led by AI, data modernization and modern data platform programs, and you'll be measured on closed revenue, pipeline coverage and new logos.What you'll be doingCarrying an annual services bookings target for your region, covering both new clients and growth in existing accountsBuilding around three times your target in pipeline yourself, through outbound, executive networking, events and partner-sourced leadsCo-selling with account teams at Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft, AWS and Anthropic, including joint planning and pipeline reviewsWorking with delivery and account leadership to find growth in existing clients before it reaches procurementRunning deals from first conversation to signature, including the business case, pricing and negotiation, using a structured methodology such as MEDDPICCHolding business-outcome conversations with CIOs, CDOs, CFOs and operational leadersKeeping your forecast and CRM clean and up to date every weekYou'll need5–8 years of quota-carrying sales in data, analytics, AI or digital transformation services, with consistent attainment xhyhwjd A history of building your own pipeline, not inheriting oneExperience across both quick-turn fixed-fee projects ($75K–$250K) and large multi-phase programs ($1M+)A real record of generating pipeline with the hyperscalers or data platform vendors, working directly with their field teamsStrong collaboration with delivery, pre-sales and alliance teamsExecutive presence, and business cases that stand up to a CFOBonus pointsBackground at a global SI, hyperscaler, data platform vendor or a high-growth AI or analytics boutiqueAn existing network of executives and partner sellers in your region
