Large Enterprise Customer Base Account Executive

About the Role Account Executive responsible for driving incremental add‑on business and renewals within large enterprise customers, partnering with internal teams to deliver value‑centric solutions. Responsibilities Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers, focusing on upselling through effective deal management. Perform account planning for assigned accounts, collaborating with pre‑sales and other resources to ensure strategic alignment. Drive strategic add‑on and renewal business of Workday solutions within large enterprise customers. Coordinate cross‑functionally with Workday’s internal teams (pre‑sales, digital, value & bid‑management, marketing, technical and sales support). Qualifications 4+ years of experience selling SaaS/Cloud based ERP, HCM, Financial, Planning, or Analytics solutions to C‑level customers from a field sales position. 4+ years of negotiating deals with C‑suite executives to close opportunities. 4+ years of building relationships with existing customers for add‑on or incremental business. 4+ years of developing long‑term account strategies with existing customers. Experience managing longer deal cycles beyond six months with large deal sizes. Understanding of the strategic competitive landscape of the industry, staying up‑to‑date with trends and customer needs to effectively position Workday solutions. Ability to partner with internal team members on account strategies. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Pay Transparency Statement The annualized base salary range for this position is $134,200 to $201,300 USD for U.S. locations. Additional location ranges vary accordingly. Compensation may include bonus/commission and annual stock grants. Flexible Work Employees are expected to spend at least 50% of their time in the office or in field engagements, while maintaining flexibility to create a schedule that meets business, team, and personal needs.
