About The Opportunity
Aligned is seeking expert Market Research Professionals to join our team of consultants for immediate part-time, remote freelance projects supporting leading AI research and frontier model companies. We are looking for individuals with a proven track record in market research, competitive analysis, or strategic intelligence from reputable firms or Fortune 500 companies.
Projects offer competitive hourly compensation, starting at $60 to $80 USD per hour for newly approved experts, with rates scaling upwards of $150 USD per hour for top performers. This is an opportunity to supplement your income with well-paying, fully-remote freelance work and contribute your insights to the forefront of AI innovation.

How it Works
- Apply: Submit your application at
- Verification: Complete a short application verifying your education and experience.
- Matching: Once approved, you'll immediately be eligible for paid projects that match your areas of expertise.
- Payment: Projects are paid hourly and start at $60-80 USD / hour for newly approved experts. You will be paid bi-weekly.
Minimum Qualifications
- You are a native or fluent English speaker and can confidently write at the university level.
- You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in market research, competitive intelligence, or strategic analysis at a reputable firm such as Gartner, Forrester, Nielsen, Ipsos, Kantar, Euromonitor, Mintel, or within a corporate strategy/insights function at a Fortune 500 company.
- You have advanced Excel skills, including experience with data manipulation, pivot tables, complex formulas, and data visualization.
- You have demonstrable expertise synthesizing market data, competitive landscapes, and strategic insights into clear, actionable presentations.
- You possess exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to translate complex research findings for executive audiences.
