HIRING - Machine Operators - Aurora, CO

The Machine Operator plays a key role in supporting the fabrication and assembly of industrial equipment. This position focuses on preparing materials, operating industrial machinery, and ensuring components meet strict quality and dimensional standards. You’ll work closely with the fabrication team in a heavy industrial environment where safety, accuracy, and efficiency are essential.

Job Description:

• Material Preparation — Cut, clean, label, and stage metal components prior to welding or assembly.
• Machine Operation — Operate saws, presses, and other fabrication equipment used in conveyor and industrial equipment production.
• Machine Setup — Adjust controls, select tooling, and verify materials meet job specifications before running equipment.
• Production Monitoring — Observe machine performance, identify irregularities, and report potential issues promptly.
• Quality Inspection — Inspect finished parts to confirm accuracy, quality, and compliance with dimensional requirements.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Machine Operation Experience in a production or manufacturing setting.
• Blueprint Reading to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
• Tool Proficiency with hand tools and power tools in an industrial environment.
• Manufacturing Workflow Knowledge and understanding of production processes.
• Machine Setup & Monitoring with strong attention to safety.
• Quality & Detail Orientation when inspecting fabricated parts.
• Safety Commitment in a heavy industrial environment.
• Willingness to work 2nd shift and perform overtime as needed.

Work Environment & Schedule:

• This is a 2nd shift role , typically 2:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. , with overtime schedules running approximately 4:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. depending on workload.
• Weekly hours generally range from 40–60 hours .
• You will work in a heavy industrial fabrication setting involving saws, presses, metal handling, and support of conveyor and structural steel production.
• Strict adherence to safety protocols and PPE requirements is mandatory.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Aurora, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
