Make a meaningful difference providing essential psychological services to students from Kindergarten through 12th grade in a supportive school environment near Sterling Heights, MI. As a contract school psychologist, you’ll help foster student success by delivering comprehensive evaluations, consultation, and support for a diverse caseload. This opportunity is ideal for those seeking a flexible, part-time schedule—with 15-20 hours per week available between 8:00 am and 3:30 pm.
Your expertise will help ensure a positive educational experience for every student you serve, all while collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals as the new school year begins.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 students across a variety of needs and backgrounds
- Knowledge of assessment tools, IEP process, and evidence-based interventions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to successfully balance responsibilities for multiple grade levels
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and psychoeducational evaluations for students in Kindergarten through 12th grade
- Interpret assessment data to help inform educational planning and support services
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create effective interventions and strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for accommodations and services
- Support students’ social, emotional, and mental health needs within the school setting
