Hospitalist Physician

Hospitalist Need in Shreveport, LAFull-Time & PermanentSeeking a BE/BC Internal Medicine trained doctor to join as hospitalist.

Rotation: 7 days on, 7 days off.
Team Structure: Physician rotation model.
Shifts: In-house floor management and admissions
Competitive Shift + wRVU compensation on both day and night shifts.

300-bed dedicated inpatient unit.
Modern community health system with robust subspecialty support.
Manage inpatient admissions, daily rounds, and discharges.
Provide expert consultations for emergency department cases.
Coordinate care plans with primary care physicians and specialists.
Stabilize and prepare patients requiring transfer to intensive care.
Lead resuscitation or rapid response protocols if activated.

Location:Shreveport & Bossier City, combined with the surrounding area, make up Louisiana's third-largest metropolitan area with a population of nearing 450,000. Shreveport-Bossier is the commercial, medical, and cultural hub where Arkansas, Louisiana, and Texas meet. Shreveport-Bossier is also an area with rich cultural and recreational opportunities with music, arts, theater, sports and outdoor recreation, thoroughbred racing and festivals. The Shreveport-Bossier area is one of the fastest-growing tourism markets in Louisiana.
