Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or those pursuing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience in school-based settings or pediatric populations strongly preferred
- Skilled with teletherapy platforms and comfortable delivering services virtually as needed
- Proficiency with IEP documentation and progress monitoring
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for students
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Deliver speech and language therapy sessions in-person or via teletherapy
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and complete required documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each student’s communication goals
- Educate staff and parents on communication strategies and promote generalization of skills across settings
