Job Summary and Qualifications

The Coordinator Supply & Equipment is responsible for cleaning and storing patient care equipment, establishing par levels for equipment and supplies for the Surgical Service Department, tracking hospital owned and rental equipment, coordinating equipment repair needs with Biomed. The Coordinator Supply & Equipment is also responsible for conducting physical inventories and expiration checks of supply areas according to the defined schedule.

What qualifications you will need:

• High school diploma or GED is required
• Previous stock clerk experience is helpful. Some hospital supply experience preferred.
• Communicates clearly and concisely
• Establishes and maintains long-term customer relationships, building trust and respect by consistently meeting and exceeding expectations
• Able to work effectively with other employees, supervisors, and external parties
• Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of organizational policies, procedures and systems
• Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and others as required
• Able to perform basic mathematical calculations, balance and reconcile figures, punctuate properly, spell correctly and transcribe accurately
• Working knowledge of hospital/operating room supplies
