An expanding dental services organization is seeking an entrepreneurial, results-driven Practice Acquisition Director to lead the acquisition of dental practices serving Medicaid and underserved communities in the NorthEast.

This is an opportunity for a proven business development and acquisitions professional with a strong hunter mentality to build a pipeline, develop relationships with dental practice owners, negotiate transactions, and drive strategic growth.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and execute a strategy to identify and acquire dental practices in targeted markets.
• Proactively source opportunities through direct outreach, referrals, industry relationships, brokers, and professional networks.
• Build trusted relationships with dentists and practice owners, including those not actively considering a sale.
• Evaluate practice financials, operations, profitability, and acquisition potential.
• Lead opportunities from initial outreach and valuation through negotiation, letters of intent, and closing.
• Partner with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to structure and execute successful transactions.
• Identify market opportunities and develop a strong, sustainable acquisition pipeline.

What You Bring

• 7+ years of experience in healthcare acquisitions, dental business development, DSO development, practice management, or healthcare M&A.
• A proven track record of sourcing and developing acquisition opportunities.
• Strong understanding of dental practice economics, including production, collections, EBITDA, and valuation.
• Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, financial analysis, and deal management skills.
• An entrepreneurial mindset, strong business development instincts, and the ability to work independently.
• Willingness to travel regularly to meet practice owners and acquisition partners.

Compensation: Competitive base salary plus performance-based incentives tied to acquisition sourcing, qualified opportunities, LOI execution, and completed transactions.

Travel: Regular travel required.
