Job Title: Emergency Room Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ER Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 4x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years in Emergency Room, including some pediatric experience License: Valid state license (pending licenses accepted) Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: - 1 year of Level 1 trauma facility experience or 2 years of Level 2 trauma facility experience - Experience with pediatric patients (not necessarily in a dedicated pediatric ER) - Epic charting system experience Description: This position is for an Emergency Room Nurse in a fast-paced clinical environment. The role requires working night shifts on a four days on, four days off schedule. Candidates must be flexible as scheduled days will vary based on staffing needs. Weekends and holidays will be part of the required schedule. Time off will have limitations and must be pre-approved, including during peak holiday periods. A background check and verification of previous employment will be conducted. Floating to other units may be required as part of the position. All candidates must bring required certifications at the time of submission. This role involves caring for a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Experience in handling cases related to Level 1 and Level 2 trauma, chest pain, and comprehensive stroke care is essential. Strong communication and teamwork skills are necessary to work effectively with an interdisciplinary support team.
