About the Position

Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (11:00 - 23:00) Experience: 2 years of emergency room experience, with at least 1 year in a Level 1 trauma facility or 2 years in a Level 2 trauma facility, including some pediatric experience License: Pending licenses accepted (must be in hand before the start date) Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC (TNCC can be pending but must be obtained before start) Must-Have: Experience with pediatric patients Description: We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team. This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. The nurse will work 12-hour shifts, three days a week, with scheduled days varying based on staffing needs. Weekends and holidays will be required as part of the scheduling. Candidates must have experience in either a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma facility. Pediatric experience is necessary, although it does not need to be in a dedicated pediatric ER. The nurse must be certified in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for interacting with patients and their families. This role will involve working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to support patient needs. Candidates will maintain patient ratios of 4-5 for both day and night shifts. Pre-approved time off is limited, and any requests must be disclosed upfront. Experience with electronic health record systems is required. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to triage and manage multiple patients effectively.
