Sr. Aeospace Manufacturing Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE)

ONSITE Aerospace Manufacturing MBSE in Marietta, GA (12 mos+ project) ***MUST have a U.S. Citizenship*** Level 3: BS+6-8 YRS or MS+4-6 YRS W2 pay rate range: depending-on-experience & industry best fit Duration: YR+ Must be available to support Swing Shift: M-Th 4pm-2:30am KEY FACTORS: KNOWLEDGE - Actively contributes to the development of new concepts. REQUIREMENTS: MSCS/BSCS degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Systems Engineering, or a related field. Preferable: Master’s degree or coursework in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) or Systems Engineering. 5-8 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in Aerospace, Avionics, DoD , or high tech hardware . 5+ years of experience of the Systems Engineering 3+ years of experience with Model Based Engineering (MBSE) using either: CAMEO/MagicDraw, SysML, Enterprise Architect (EA), and/or DOORS Influencing decisions without formal authority (technical lead on design reviews, process improvement initiatives) ). Understanding of the Systems Engineering V Model, requirements flow down, and verification & validation (V&V) processes. PROJECT SCOPE: Performs in a collaborative environment to develop and implement manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, fabrication, and material handling. Drives adoption of new technologies and processes (automation, robotics, computer aided manufacturing software, etc.) to achieve greater efficiency, cost reduction and quality improvement. MBSE experience creates and analyzes 3D based model data environment to optimize manufacturing process digital work instructions . Leverages understanding of materials and automatic processes to define operations procedures and build sequences to drive operational excellence. Evaluates performance (including IoT devices, etc.) of equipment and tools to verify their efficiency and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure operational excellence. Leverages factory data to develop statistical process control approaches and integrates reporting and data analytics solutions for continuous improvement. Provides input to product design regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
