Visit the Employee Benefits page for more information… Position Summary & Responsibilities: Position Summary: This Management Analyst position is located in Topeka, at the Eisenhower State Office Building, and is within the Bureau of Construction and Materials. This position serves as a functional lead and technical resource for the AASHTOWare Project software suite. This role maintains the integrity and efficiency of the construction project management life cycle. Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following: * Supports the broader AASHTOWare Project Suite by developing and maintaining complex SQL queries to extract, validate, and analyze data across databases to maintain data integrity and system reliability. * Designs and delivers standardized reporting solutions to facilitate project tracking, financial oversight, and performance monitoring. * Administers the AASHTOWare Project Data Analytics Module by managing specific security roles, system configurations and analysis tasks. * Administers the AASHTOWare Bids application, including the configuration and maintenance of agency-specific business rules and system settings. * Assists co-workers with administering the AASHTOWare Project suite and processing bidding proposal documents and information. * Research statistical, cost, and organizational data to develop and implement various policy and program options. Transcripts are required for education to be considered. Preferred Qualifications: * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical requirements and develop effective solutions. * Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to stakeholders. * Experience working in an Agile development environment, with a focus on delivering customer-centric solutions. * Ability to translate complex technical findings into clear insights for stakeholders. * Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) in a Relational Database Environment (Oracle preferred). * Proficiency in SAP Crystal Reports and other Business Intelligence (BI) tools. * Ability to train both administrative staff and end-users on system functionality and best practices. * Knowledge of KDOT and AASHTOWare Project Suite.
