Court Reporter - Intermittent (Desert Only: Blythe, Indio, and Palm Springs)

We are seeking qualified individuals responsible for providing court reporting services using traditional stenographic or voice writing equipment within assigned courtrooms or other court proceedings. The ideal candidate shall possess a current Certified Shorthand Reporter (CSR) certificate issued by the Court Reporters' Board of California, possess real‑time skills, and report court proceedings at a rate of 200 words per minute. Riverside is the fourth largest county in California and the 10th largest in the United States. It has fourteen court facilities spanning 7,300 square miles and serves Riverside’s 2.4 million residents. The court’s mission is to resolve disputes in a fair, accessible, effective, and efficient manner, applying the law consistently, impartially, and independently to protect the rights and liberties guaranteed by the California and United States Constitutions.
