Step into a Day on the Floor

Your shift starts indoors on a well-organized manufacturing floor. You review electrical prints, map out conduit runs, and stage materials. By mid-morning, you’re bending EMT and rigid, threading pipe with precision, and mounting panels and junction boxes. After lunch, you’re pulling and routing conductors, landing terminations, and validating your work aligns with the NEC (National Electrical Code). You wrap the day by tidying the work area and confirming everything is safe, labeled, and ready for the next build.

• Lay out, bend, and install EMT and rigid conduit for clean, efficient runs
• Cut, thread, and assemble electrical pipe/conduit with accurate measurements
• Pull and route wire to panels, boxes, and devices per drawings/specs
• Mount electrical boxes, panels, and junction boxes securely and square
• Interpret electrical prints and schematics to guide installation
• Perform electrical assembly using the right hand and power tools for the job
• Verify all work meets NEC requirements and quality standards
• Keep the workspace orderly and safe throughout the shift

• Hands-on experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings
• Proven conduit bending and pipe threading skill
• Background pulling and routing conductors
• Working knowledge of NEC standards and compliance
• Accuracy using a tape measure for layout and fabrication
• Experience mounting panels, boxes, and electrical components
• Comfort operating common hand and power tools
• Ability to read electrical drawings/blueprints (preferred)
• Strong safety focus and attention to detail

• All work is indoors—no weather delays or outdoor service calls
• Stable manufacturing/industrial environment with consistent workflows
• Hands-on electrical fabrication and installation every day
• No residential service calls
• Apply commercial/industrial electrician skills in a production setting
