Senior Accountant

General Accounting SupportThis role provides general accounting support to the business working concurrently with the Sr. Finance and Accounting teams in all areas of accounting including fixed assets management, internal and external audits and preparation of month-end closing and issuing financial statements.Essential duties and responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to:Prepares monthly balance sheet and expense account reconciliations and account analysisAssists with month, quarter, and year-end closeAssists with bank account reconciliationsReviews current Accounting Policies & ProceduresAssists in improving and establishing best practicesAssists in fixed assets managementAssists in internal and external auditsIdentifies additional internal policies and processes to improve and maintain financial statements in line with generally accepted accounting principlesAssists Accounting Manager with fixed asset managementAssists with the implementation of software conversionsProvides variance and profitability analysis as directed by managementEducation/ExperienceBachelor's degree in accountingFive or more years of experience as a General Ledger AccountantExperience in fixed assets and ASC 842 Lease Accounting StandardsMonday - Friday (8am - 5pm)
