Senior Property Accountant

Senior Property Accountant | Hybrid | Cleveland, OH
We are partnering with a growing real estate investment firm that is adding a Senior Property Accountant to its accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys multi-entity accounting, financial reporting, and working with a diverse real estate portfolio.
Responsibilities include:
- Own month-end close activities for multiple entities and properties
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
- Partner with Asset Management on cash flow reporting and funding requests
- Support lender reporting, ownership allocations, and property transactions
- Help improve accounting processes and reporting efficiencies
- Collaborate with internal teams and third-party property managers
We're looking for:
- 2+ years of property, real estate, or multi-entity accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills with excellent analytical abilities
- Experience with Yardi, MRI, RealPage, JD Edwards, or similar ERP systems is a plus
