Executive Project Manager

Location: Charlotte, NC – Hybrid Compensation: $85,000–$95,000 + Comprehensive Benefits Reports To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Experience: 4+ Years in Project Management, Program Management, or Operations Platform: Zoho Projects | Zoho CRM | Zoho One About The Opportunity Our client is seeking an experienced Executive Project Manager to partner directly with the CEO and help drive strategic initiatives across the organization. This highly visible role is focused on executive accountability, project visibility, and cross-functional coordination. Rather than managing the day-to-day execution of projects, you'll ensure projects remain on schedule by tracking progress, driving accountability, identifying risks, and providing executive-level reporting. What You'll Do Executive Project Management Own and manage the organization's project portfolio within Zoho Projects Build project plans, timelines, milestones, and dependencies Standardize project management processes across departments Monitor project health and proactively identify risks, delays, and roadblocks Ensure executive leadership has real-time visibility into organizational priorities Executive Accountability Track executive action items, commitments, and key deliverables Follow up with department leaders to ensure deadlines and project milestones are achieved Escalate risks and unresolved issues when appropriate Maintain clear documentation of project ownership, progress, and accountability Serve as the operational link between the CEO and leadership team Executive Reporting Develop executive dashboards, KPIs, and project status reports Build and maintain reporting within Zoho Projects and related platforms Prepare concise updates for leadership meetings and business reviews Communicate project risks, blockers, and key decisions proactively Establish consistent weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting cadences Cross-Functional Coordination Coordinate projects across multiple departments and business functions Facilitate project kickoff meetings, status meetings, and follow-up discussions Identify project dependencies and improve communication between teams Keep stakeholders aligned on priorities, timelines, and deliverables Zoho Platform Administration Administer and optimize Zoho Projects, Zoho CRM, and/or Zoho One Improve workflows, reporting capabilities, and overall system efficiency Train users and promote adoption of project management best practices Maintain system integrity while evaluating new platform capabilities and enhancements Process Improvement Develop standardized project management processes, templates, and documentation Build and maintain a centralized project knowledge base Analyze recurring project challenges and recommend operational improvements Support continuous improvement initiatives across the organization What You'll Bring 4+ years of Project Management, Program Management, Operations, or related experience Hands-on experience with Zoho Projects, Zoho CRM, or Zoho One Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills Proven ability to drive accountability through influence rather than direct authority Experience creating executive dashboards, KPIs, and project reporting Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through Self-motivated with the ability to manage competing priorities independently Preferred Qualifications PMP, CAPM, or similar project management certification Experience supporting C-suite executives Experience within a high-growth or scaling organization Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Communications, or a related field Experience in payroll, HCM, SaaS, or technology-enabled services Compensation & Benefits $85,000–$95,000 Base Salary Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 100% Company-Paid Life Insurance Company-Paid Short-Term & Long-Term Disability 401(k) Safe Harbor with up to 4% Company Match (Immediate Vesting) Generous Discretionary Paid Time Off Career growth with a rapidly expanding organization Why Join?
