The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a proven track record in new business development, sales, business planning, marketing strategy, and sales management. This role focuses on tenant improvement (TI) and ground‑up projects in retail, ClassA office, defense, healthcare, restaurant, life science, education, and corporate office sectors. A minimum of five years of experience in a similar role is required. This position will drive business growth and expansion strategies. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and manage business development strategies to drive growth and increase market share. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the construction industry, focusing on commercial TI. Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry players, decision‑makers, and stakeholders. Lead and manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation, proposal submission, negotiation to closing deals. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective marketing strategies and campaigns aligned with business objectives. Manage and oversee the sales management process, including forecasting, budgeting, and tracking sales activities. Provide insights on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments. Work closely with the project management team to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences. Qualifications Minimum of five years of experience in a business development role within the construction industry. Proven track record in new business development, sales, business planning, marketing strategy, and sales management. Extensive knowledge and experience in commercial TI, including tenant improvement, ground‑up, retail, ClassA office, defense, healthcare, restaurant, life science, education, and corporate office sectors. Exceptional negotiation and deal‑closing skills. Strong network of contacts in the construction industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, construction management, or related field.
