Key Responsibilities For The Staff Accountant Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy. Assist with month‑end and year‑end close processes. Perform account reconciliations and analyze balance sheet accounts. Support financial reporting and audit requests. Assist with process improvements and special accounting projects. Qualifications For The Staff Accountant Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 2+ years of accounting experience. Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month‑end close. Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
