Reporting to the Sr. Payroll Manager, in this role you will support accurate and timely payroll processing, maintain employee payroll records, and assist in ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations — all within a collaborative, supportive team environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPayroll Processing & Data EntryAssist with processing bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly payroll for a defined employee population under the guidance of a senior team memberEnter and verify payroll data including new hire information, terminations, pay rate changes, tax withholdings, and benefit deductionsReview timekeeping records for completeness and accuracy, following up with managers or employees to resolve discrepanciesAssist with off-cycle payroll adjustments and manual check requests as neededCompliance & RecordkeepingMaintain accurate and organized payroll records in accordance with company policy and regulatory requirementsAssist with ensuring payroll activities comply with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws and tax regulationsSupport year-end payroll processes including W-2 preparation, distribution, and reconciliationHelp ensure payroll tax filings and remittances are completed accurately and on timeFlag potential compliance issues to senior team members for review and resolutionReporting & ReconciliationRun standard payroll reports and assist in reconciling payroll accounts and general ledger entriesAssist in auditing payroll data to identify and correct errors prior to final processingCompile and organize data for internal and external audits as requestedHelp prepare ad-hoc reports for HR, Finance, or management as directedEmployee Support & CollaborationRespond to routine employee inquiries regarding paychecks, deductions, and payroll policies in a timely and professional mannerEscalate complex or sensitive payroll issues to the appropriate team memberWork collaboratively with HR and Benefits teams to ensure employee data is accurate and up to dateSupport onboarding processes by setting up payroll information for new hiresParticipate in payroll system testing and process improvement initiatives as opportunities ariseQualificationsRequiredEducation: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field — OR equivalent work experienceExperience: 1–3 years of payroll, accounting, or HR administrative experience (internship or co-op experience considered for entry-level candidates)Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive data with accuracy and discretionTechnical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, data entry, and formatting) and general comfort with software systemsCommunication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levelsOrganization: Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet recurring deadlines, and maintain organized recordsPreferredEducation: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related fieldHands-on experience with payroll software such as ADP Workforce Now, Workday, Ceridian Dayforce, Paychex, or similar platformsBasic familiarity with federal and state payroll tax regulationsExperience with HRIS or timekeeping systemsPursuit of or interest in obtaining the Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)Prior exposure to multi-state payroll processingCore CompetenciesEagerness to LearnDemonstrates curiosity, receptiveness to feedback, and a proactive approach to professional developmentIntegrity & ConfidentialityHandles sensitive employee compensation data with professionalism and discretionTeamworkWorks cooperatively with payroll, HR, and finance colleagues to achieve shared goalsTime ManagementPrioritizes effectively to meet recurring payroll deadlines and ad-hoc requestsProblem SolvingIdentifies discrepancies and seeks appropriate guidance to resolve issues efficiently#LI-EC1#CORPCompensation and Benefits:TTM offers a variety of health and well-being benefit programs. For some positions, only PTO and holiday benefits are offered.Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:$42,038 - $66,447Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment.
