Overview
Registered Nurse - CVICU travel assignment in Robbinsdale, Minnesota. Start date: 07/20/2026 for 13 weeks. Shifts rotate on 12-hour blocks (3x12). Weekly pay range: $2,249 to $2,410. Hours: 60 per two weeks. Setting: hospital environment. This assignment is with Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Provide holistic nursing care to CVICU patients, including initial assessment, plan of care development, implementation, and ongoing evaluation.
- Monitor critically ill cardiac patients, interpret cardiac rhythms, and respond to hemodynamic changes and complications of care.
- Care for post-open-heart surgery patients, support recovery goals, and coordinate with the multidisciplinary team.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other disciplines; delegate appropriate tasks and ensure care is delivered safely.
- Administer medications and therapies as ordered; monitor for adverse effects and maintain sterile technique and infection control.
- Document care in the electronic health record (Epic) and participate in patient/family education and discharge planning.

Requirements
- Active Minnesota RN license
- BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association or ARC) required
- 1+ year of RN experience required; Fresh open heart surgery patient experience required
- Interpretation of cardiac rhythms required
- Epic experience required
- Adult and geriatric population experience required
- Impella and balloon pump experience preferred
- Skills checklist current to within 1 year
- Two supervisory references with dates of employment listed
- Ability to work in the CVICU environment in a travel assignment
- If not eligible to work in the USA, this must be noted on the profile
