Senior Manager, Corporate Development

In this role, you will be part of the Corporate Development team’s M&A Deal Team, responsible for sourcing and executing strategic acquisitions and investments. You will leverage AI to streamline operations, automation, and analytics, working closely with M&A Integration, Salesforce Ventures, and other cross‑functional partners. Responsibilities Own standardized reporting, pipeline metrics, and readouts for annual M&A deals, including those not pursued for acquisition or investment. Lead analysis on the portfolio of M&A deals, pipeline, and inbound opportunities. Leverage Salesforce AI products and other AI tools (Claude, Gemini, etc.) to streamline processes and create efficiency. Support market, industry, and company research and analyses. Own the reporting and analysis for the Salesforce Investments portfolio, monitoring performance, valuation, realized and unrealized gains. Serve as the primary coordinator for preparing materials on the M&A program for the Board of Directors, executive leadership, and Corporate Development leadership. Own the development of the Salesforce M&A org’s enterprise tools, including feature development, reporting of inbound/outbound conversations, and record maintenance. As required, support the M&A Deal team on acquisition strategy and proactive ideation or execution on deals. Qualifications 6–8 years of total experience with a strong educational pedigree. Previous experience in management consulting, data science, strategic finance, or M&A. Experience working in the technology sector. Technical skills: understanding of financial and valuation metrics; ability to identify and track business and operational KPIs; experience using AI tools for process improvement within M&A; data quality assessment and implementation of improvement solutions; familiarity with Salesforce and business visualization tools (e.g., Tableau). Strong analytical capabilities, ability to integrate disparate information, and present findings in research papers or briefings. Excellent communication skills, able to build rapport and credibility with stakeholders at all levels. Intellectual curiosity, strategic vision, and collaborative mindset.
