Role Name: Senior RF Engineer
Work Location: Oconee, South Carolina

• Develop new products, support existing products, and improve engineering processes, particularly in RF and communications design.
• Lead RF circuit design from concept through production for low-cost wireless communication products.
• Perform complete radio transceiver design and layout, including:
  • RF Power Amplifiers (PA)
  • Low-Noise Amplifiers (LNA)
  • RF filters and matching networks
  • Synthesizers
  • Voltage-Controlled Oscillators (VCOs)
  • Mixers
• Conduct RF circuit measurements using laboratory equipment such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and other RF test equipment.
• Verify that designs meet requirements through analysis, simulation, and measurement.
• Compare test and simulation results against theoretical expectations and document findings.
• Conduct field studies and system testing activities.
• Provide design and project support in areas including project leadership, regulatory compliance, reliability, and component selection.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing, service, and other internal departments.
• Coordinate and verify the work of support staff, including technicians and CAD designers.
• Lead projects of limited scope as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Communications Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience.
• In-depth understanding of:
  • Electronic circuits
  • RF circuits
  • Microwave theory
• Strong understanding of RF systems and wireless communication systems.
• Hands-on experience with RF design, testing, analysis, and troubleshooting.

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a related field is highly preferred.
• RF certification experience.
• Experience with communication theory and digital signal processing (DSP).
• Experience with advanced modeling and simulation tools and techniques.
