Inova Mount Vernon Hospital – Joints Clinical Technician 1Inova Mount Vernon Hospital – Joints is looking for a dedicated Clinical Technician 1 to join the team.This schedule for this role will be PRN | Days or Nights | 7:00AM – 7:30PM or 7:00PM - 7:30AM | Rotating days, weekends & holidays | Four shifts in a six week period |Inova is consistently ranked as a national healthcare leader in safety, quality and patient experience.We are also proud to be consistently recognized as a top employer in both the D.C. metro area and the nation.Featured Benefits:• Retirement: Inova matches the first 5% of eligible contributions – starting on your first day.• Mental Health Support: offering all Inova team members, their spouses/partners, and their children 25 mental health coaching or therapy sessions, per person, per year, at no cost.Clinical Technician 1 – Job Responsibilities:• Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurses.• Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors.• Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.• May perform additional duties as assignedTraining:Clinical Technician Academy (CTA): 6 Classroom-style sessions located in Fairfax VA: 8AM – 4:30PM1 Virtual Orientation Day: 9AM – 4:30PM1 Virtual EPIC Training: 8AM – 4:30PMAll dates already pre-determined and fall between Monday – Friday.Your first week of work will be a Monday – Friday schedule.Current Inova Clinical Technicians & rehires under 1 year are exempt from CTA.Minimum Qualifications:• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.• Exp: One years as a clinical tech in an acute care setting, or acute care clinical completed with accredited nursing program.• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire• Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds
