Falls Church, VA, United States Job Description Inova Fairfax Hospital – Perianesthesia - Adults & Pediatrics is looking for a dedicated Clinical Technician 2 to join the team. This schedule for this role will be Full Time | Days | 6:30AM - 7:00PM | Two weekdays and one weekend shift /weekly | Days rotate | Inova is consistently ranked as a national healthcare leader in safety, quality and patient experience. Clinical Technician – Job Responsibilities To learn more about a day in the life of Clinical Technician, please visit: Working as a Clinical Technician (2 Mins) Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurses. Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors. Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system. May perform additional duties as assigned Training Virtual orientations (Two from 8AM -4:30PM) Classroom-style sessions: 8AM - 4:30PM (6 shifts total) Virtual training modules. On-unit shifts Minimum Qualifications Education : High School diploma or equivalent. Experience : 1 year working as a Clinical Technician; or completing acute care clinical rotation, and actively enrolled in a nursing program Certification : Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire Special Skills : Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English Physical Requirements : Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds About Us We are Inova, Northern Virginia's leading nonprofit healthcare provider.
