What you'll actually be doing
This is a relationship-driven sales role
- Prospect for new business by calling and connecting with contractors, builders, remodelers, designers, installers, and other trade professionals
- Reactivate lapsed and inactive members and rebuild those relationships
- Consistently follow up with prospects and members to uncover upcoming projects and opportunities
- Develop new relationships and bring new trade professionals into ProSource
- Build and execute a plan to grow your assigned territory
- Become the go-to resource for flooring, cabinets, kitchen & bath products, and project materials
- Help members quote, plan, and win projects
- Identify opportunities to increase business with existing accounts
- Partner with the showroom team to close deals and deliver a great member experience
- Keep your pipeline organized, maintain accurate CRM activity, and consistently move opportunities forward

Ideal background
- Business development, inside sales, outside sales, account management, or showroom sales
- Experience with prospecting, outbound calling, lead follow-up, or account reactivation
- Building materials, flooring, kitchen & bath, remodeling, construction, or wholesale experience
- Experience selling to or working with trade professionals and business owners
- Experience growing a territory or book of business is a strong plus
