divh2Bar Apprentice/h2pThe primary responsibility of the Bar Apprentice is to provide excellent service to all guests who approach the bar, keeps the bar area cleaned and stocked at all times, and assist the Bartender with various duties./ppEssential job functions include:/pulliMust be willing and able to appear on television or to be filmed while performing day to day job functions/liliMust be able to interact with high profile guests and celebrities while maintaining a professional demeanor/liliGreets and welcomes all guests in a pleasant and professional manner./liliBe a brand advocate by providing guests with accurate information regarding our venues, menus and pricing/liliCleans bar area, including bar tops, sinks, glasses, refrigerators and other bar appliances./liliAcknowledges, greets and converses with customers who approach the bar./liliPrepares and pours all types of drinks for customers and cocktail servers upon request providing they have a Union Pour Card./liliProcesses all cash transactions by accepting money and making necessary change accurately, while presenting customer with bar receipt./liliConverts cash to coin for any customers playing the slot machines in the bar area./liliMay not work out of another persons cash drawer and must follow the Cash Handling Policy./li/ulpQualifications include:/pulliWork requires 6 months prior Bartender or Bar Apprentice experience./liliWork requires at least 1-year previous money handling position./liliMust have knowledge of beverages, glassware, and garnishes./liliWork requires effective communication in English, both verbal and written form in a professional manner./liliMust present a neat and professional appearance./liliWork requires interactions with customers, public and co-workers./liliWork requires teamwork with other staff members./liliWork requires ability to accurately count money and provide change./liliWork requires schedule flexibility which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed./li/ulpPhysical, mental and environmental demands include:/pulliFast paced, high volume environment involving constant public. Requires standing, walking, and lifting a minimum of 15-20lbs repeatedly. Shifts may vary based on business needs.
