As the first point of contact for pet owners and their beloved animals, you'll play a vital role in creating a welcoming and caring environment. Responsibilities: Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival and check them in for appointments Answer and manage incoming phone calls, emails, and appointment scheduling Maintain and update patient records accurately in the veterinary management system Process payments, invoices, and handle billing inquiries Communicate effectively with veterinarians and veterinary technicians to coordinate patient flow Educate clients on clinic services, products, and follow-up care instructions Manage front desk operations and maintain a clean, organized reception area Requirements: Prior experience in a veterinary, medical, or customer service receptionist role preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate demeanor Comfortable handling and being around animals of all types and sizes Proficiency in scheduling software and basic computer skills Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced clinical environment High school diploma or equivalent required Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus in the San Diego area About Us: Located in the heart of San Diego, CA, our veterinary practice is dedicated to providing exceptional care for pets and peace of mind for their owners.
