Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Monday–Friday with weekend rotation and holidays as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Neuro Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms, including identification of lethal arrhythmias and heart blocks
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR
• Participate in weekend rotation and holiday coverage as required

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required
• BLS certification required – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Neuro Medical Surgical / Telemetry
• Inpatient RN travelers must have two years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty being submitted to
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must pass a Telemetry exam prior to start (adult and pediatric components; 80% passing score required, with 100% identification of lethal rhythms on adult exam; maximum of three attempts allowed)
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — locals not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Magnet-designated or academic medical center environment
• Familiarity with cardiac rhythm interpretation and telemetry monitoring in both adult and pediatric populations
