About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of two years of acute care experience within the last three years License: RN license required Certifications: BLS required - AHA only Must-Have: Epic experience required Description: Evening/Night 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30. Weekend and holiday rotations based on operational need. Traveler will be required to pass a telemetry test prior to being cleared to start. BLS certification must be from AHA. Travelers are required to float as needed. Inpatient RN travelers must have two years of acute care experience within the last three years in the specialty they are applying for. The telemetry exam will require strict passing criteria. The adult exam requires 100% identification of lethal rhythms: ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, and asystole. No incorrect answers on questions regarding third-degree heart blocks; one incorrect answer will cause failure. A passing score of 80% or higher is required. For the pediatric exam, the passing score must also be 80% or higher. Travelers will have two attempts to pass the exam; failure to pass after three attempts will lead to cancellation of the assignment.
