About the Position

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) Med/Surg Telemetry Float – Wisconsin

Start Date: November 30, 2026

Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts (0700-1930), Day/Evening rotation, every other weekend and holidays as applicable to operations. Patient ratios: 4:1 days, 5:1 nights and weekends.

• Collaborative environment with extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
• Care for complex adult patient populations in both medical and surgical general care and intermediate care (IMC) settings

Requirements:

• Active Wisconsin RN license or compact multistate license required
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in Med/Surg specialty
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• BLS (American Heart Association) certification required
• Demonstrated experience in multiple Med/Surg units including cardiac, spine, and neuro
• Strong cardiac telemetry and basic arrhythmia interpretation skills required
• Must successfully pass telemetry competency exam prior to start (80% passing score with specific criteria for lethal rhythms and heart blocks)
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Willingness to float to neuro and oncology units as needed
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• Candidate must reside 50+ miles from the facility
