Pérez Law, PC is seeking a motivated and career-focused 3L Law Clerk or Post-Bar Law Clerk to join our growing legal team in Southern California.

This is an excellent opportunity for a current 3L or recent law school graduate who wants meaningful, hands-on experience working on active cases and learning directly from experienced attorneys. For the right candidate, this position may provide a pathway to an Associate Attorney position following successful California Bar admission.

Pérez Law, PC is a growing California law firm representing clients in Workers’ Compensation, Personal Injury, and Employment Law, including workplace harassment and sexual harassment matters. We are committed to providing strong, compassionate, client-focused legal representation while developing talented legal professionals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda
• Draft pleadings, motions, correspondence, and other legal documents
• Assist attorneys with case preparation and legal strategy
• Review and analyze medical, employment, and other case records
• Assist with discovery and document review
• Prepare for hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings
• Assist with client communications and case management
• Maintain organized and accurate case files
• Work collaboratively with attorneys, case managers, and other members of the legal team
• Perform other legal research and case-related assignments as needed

Qualifications

3L Law Clerk:

• Currently enrolled in an accredited law school and in the third year of law school
• Strong interest in practicing law in California
• Excellent legal research and writing skills
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines

Post-Bar Law Clerk:

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• California Bar Examination completed and awaiting admission
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Interest in building a long-term career in California

Compensation

$28–$35 per hour, depending on qualifications, experience, and position level.
