We are seeking a skilled CNC MACHINIST to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Programming and operating CNC machines and capable of operating multi axis CNC mills, lathes and manual machines. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a dynamic manufacturing environment with significant attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and accuracy of parts produced
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize machining processes
Skills:
-extensive CNC machining skills including the ability to program complex 3 and 5-axis parts
-prior experience programming with Gibbs CAM, ESPRIT SMC and running FADAL and/or MAZAK CNC Machines with smooth technology and Doosan DVF 4000 5 axis
-prior experience programming Gibbs CAM and running OKUMA Lathes
-ability to read and understand engineering drawings, specifications and blueprints
-set up and operate CNC and Manual mills and lathes
-high school diploma or GED required
-certification related to machining or machine tool technology or equivalent experience
-minimum of 5 years experience
