As a Senior Sample Management Coordinator at ICON, you will oversee the collection, tracking, and management of biological samples for clinical trials.
What You Will Do:
You will lead on clinical research tasks requiring technical depth, with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include:- Coordinating the collection, storage, and distribution of biological samples across clinical trials, ensuring compliance with protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Managing sample tracking systems to monitor the lifecycle of samples from collection to analysis, ensuring accurate data entry and reporting.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure proper handling, labeling, and shipment of samples according to study protocols.
- Providing training and guidance on sample management processes to project teams and laboratory staff.
- Generating reports on sample management metrics, identifying potential issues, and proposing solutions to maintain timelines and quality.
Your Profile:
You will have a strong foundation in clinical research, with the experience to work independently and guide others.
Required qualifications and experience:- Bachelor's degree in life sciences, laboratory management, or a related field.
- Experience in sample management, laboratory coordination, or clinical trial operations, ideally in the clinical research or healthcare industry.
- Familiarity with sample tracking systems and database management tools, with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with a collaborative approach to working across departments.

Salary range: $46,864.00-$58,580.00

Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, education/training, and skill level. You may be eligible for a bonus, stock compensation and commissions in some cases depending on your role and performance.
