Billing Specialist

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Billing Specialist for a rapidly growing healthcare technology client in the medical device space. This individual will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely billing operations across Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in navigating complex insurance processes, including claims submission, payment posting, and denial resolution. Skills and Requirements

• 2+ years of medical billing experience (Medicare, Medicaid, and/or Commercial Insurance)

• Experience with claims submission, payment posting, and denial management

• Experience analyzing EOBs and resolving claim rejections/denials

• Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and billing regulations

• Basic to intermediate Microsoft Office skills

High school diploma or equivalent • Experience within HME/DME environment

• Strong knowledge of DME (Durable Medical Equipment) billing and payer rules

• Exposure to Niko Health software

• Experience using Salesforce for billing or CRM workflows

• Medical billing certification or some college coursework

• Experience identifying process improvements within billing workflows
