Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and menus, ensuring that all dishes are presented attractively and meet the highest standards of quality and safety

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to infection control practices and ensuring compliance with all food safety regulations

• Receive and store food and supply deliveries, managing inventory and minimizing waste

• Collaborate with the Dietary Department to plan and implement special menus and events

• Participate in menu planning, food costing, and inventory management as needed

• Maintain accurate records, including food temperatures, inventory levels, and equipment maintenance

• Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment, promoting teamwork and communication among colleagues

Requirements:

• 0 years of experience as a cook or culinary professional

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

• Basic knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and safety protocols

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy equipment and supplies (up to 50 pounds)
