ICU Registered Nurse (RN)An opportunity is available for a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing high-quality care to critically ill patients and may require floating to other units based on patient census and facility needs.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver exemplary patient care in the Intensive Care Unit.Monitor patients' conditions and maintain detailed records of patient care.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.Float to Medical-Surgical/Telemetry units as necessary, with a patient ratio of 5-6:1 during low census periods.Participate in the opening of a new Progressive Care Unit (PCU), providing care in ICU, PCU, and/or MS/Tele based on facility needs.ScheduleThis position offers night shifts with options for 36 or 48 hours per week. Specific hours are 18:30 to 07:00.QualificationsCurrent nursing license and ACLS/BLS certification required.Certification in TNCC or TCAR required.Completion of NIH Stroke Scale training (6 hours total of stroke education). Educational resources can be provided if necessary.Completion of an EKG course; resources available if needed.Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Additional InformationRN applicants should be aware of the floating requirement and be agreeable to working in different units as part of their assigned shifts.
