Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) - Cath Lab Prep Recovery - Days

Job Summary Assistant Nurse Manager at Barnes Jewish Hospital. Sign‑on bonus of $12,500. 10 hour shifts 0600‑1630, no weekend, no holidays. Requires BSN and RN. PTO accrual from day one. 401(k) with employer match and pension. Charge nurse experience preferred. Responsibilities Manage direct reports: hiring, training, assignment, performance evaluation and professional development. Ensure productivity and operations meet departmental goals set by leadership. Participate in staff staffing, revenue/expense budgeting and adherence to budgets. Oversee patient care planning and documentation per policy. Perform and approve daily payroll updates, reconcile time cards, bonus tracking and coding approval. Coordinate staff communications: huddle agendas and meetings. Determine staffing needs, assign nursing shifts and allocate overtime. Recommend annual increases, interview staff for open positions, conduct performance reviews, issue corrective actions and follow up on disciplinary matters. Maintain staff productivity aligned with department leadership goals. Qualifications Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s degree preferred). Experience: 2–5 years nursing; 5–10 years nursing with RN license required.
