You'll diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, coordinate care with specialists and interdisciplinary team members, and partner with patients to improve long-term health outcomes through prevention, education, and evidence-based care. This role also provides clinical collaboration and support to Advanced Practice Providers while contributing to quality initiatives that continue to strengthen CareATC's virtual care platform. What You'll DoProvide comprehensive virtual primary care for patients ages 2 and olderDiagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions across a broad spectrum of primary careOrder, interpret, and review laboratory and diagnostic studiesDevelop individualized treatment plans and prescribe appropriate medicationsCoordinate specialty referrals and ongoing patient careComplete clinical documentation, physicals, pre-operative clearances, and other required medical formsCollaborate with Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and interdisciplinary care team membersParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical best practicesServe as a collaborative physician for Advanced Practice Providers, as appropriate What You'll BringDoctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited U.S. medical schoolCompletion of an accredited residency in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or another appropriate specialtyCurrent Board Certification or Board EligibilityCurrent unrestricted DEA registrationCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationMedical licensure in all 50 statesPassion for relationship-based, patient-centered careCommitment to prevention, chronic disease management, and improving patient outcomesStrong communication and collaboration skills within a virtual healthcare environment The CareATC Core4Committed • Optimistic • Reliable • Empathetic Ready to Help Build Something New?If you're passionate about delivering relationship-centered care and excited by the opportunity to help launch an innovative virtual primary care program serving patients nationwide, we'd love to hear from you.
