- Conducting comprehensive patient assessments, managing diagnostic tests, and crafting personalized care strategies
- Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health issues, either independently or in collaboration with physicians, depending on credentialing
- Providing education on wellness, preventive care, and disease management to patients and their families
- Prescribing necessary medications and treatments within your practice scope
- Engaging in follow-up care and chronic disease management
- Working with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, holistic patient care
- Accurately documenting all interactions and care in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Oklahoma
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain them within 90 days)
- A blend of strong clinical judgement and a caring bedside approach
- Outstanding communication abilities with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic, patient-focused environments
- Comfort and proficiency with EMR systems and telehealth platforms
- A cooperative spirit and dedication to evidence-based practices
