Associate Business Development Director - Genomics

IQVIA seeks an Associate Business Development Director for genomics-related clinical research services in Durham, NC. The role involves identifying and securing new business opportunities with clinical sponsors while managing existing accounts through consultative sales activities and cross-functional partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new business opportunities within assigned customer accounts
- Cultivate long-term relationships with key decision-makers and maintain customer satisfaction
- Coordinate with internal teams to develop proposals, sales presentations, and close deals
- Monitor competitive activities, pricing, and market positioning within the segment
- Establish and execute comprehensive sales plans, tracking actions and results against targets
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business management
- 10 years related experience including 3 years in CRO, pharmaceutical, or sales
- Proven track record engaging mid-level and high-level contacts
- Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills
- Excellent analytical and business/industry awareness capabilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems
- Ability to travel 30-40% based on location
Compensation: $89,900-$250,400 base annually
