Our specially trained staff works hand-in-hand with physicians to provide the right products and the correct dosage to ensure patients get the compassionate care they need.The Assistant General Manager supports the General Manager in leadership and supervision of store personnel, inventory tracking and management, achieving key performance metrics and ensuring the efficient daily operations of the store. This role is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance while delivering exceptional customer experience.Key duties and responsibilities include:Partner with the General Manager to plan and implement strategies to drive service standards and positive sales resultsMaintain brand standards in visual merchandisingEnsure consistent regulatory compliance with all state specific regulationsReview, communicate and ensure compliance with all company SOPsProvide coaching, training, and development to the team focused on company service standards and accountability to meet specific objectivesMonitor and maintain store inventoryHandle and resolve patient issues and escalations when on dutyMaintain strict confidentiality and complianceSkills and qualifications include:Two years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experiencePrior management experience, preferably in retail and/or customer service area is a plusMust have prior cash handling experienceMust possess the ability to train, develop and evaluate a team of 40+ employeesStrong interpersonal skills and professionalism to communicate with all levels of management and staffAbility to uphold a strict level of confidentiality and discretionAbility to communicate in conversational English to work effectively with customers and team membersAdditional minimum qualifications include:Must possess a valid driver's license and pass an MVR background check (delivery locations only)Must be able to pass a level 1 and level 2 background checkMust be at least 21 years of ageMust function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agenciesMust be able to relate to and work with patrons of different ages, abilities, and patrons that at times are experiencing emotional distress, or displaying a hostile attitudePhysical requirements include:Constantly required to move/traverse throughout entire facility, including tight spacesFrequently required to manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights (e.g., products, packaging, tools, office machinery): push/pull objects up to 50lbs; lift/carry/position objects up to 50 lbs.; ascend/descend stool/ladder/steps; position self and/or objects at floor level (e.g., crouch, stoop, kneel, crawl)Must have visual and auditory acuity with or without aids to perform all functions of the positionOccasionally required to remain in a seated positionWork schedule: 40-45 hours weekly with flexible hours depending on store needs.
