Job Description
The Dispatcher/Scheduler -Warehouse Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring efficient coordination between warehouse operations and shipment logistics. This position requires a balance of scheduling, dispatch coordination, inventory management, and customer interaction to maintain smooth workflows and timely deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate dispatch activities to optimize delivery routes and times
- Track inventory levels and support inventory management processes
- Process shipments accurately and assist with warehouse operations as needed
- Maintain clear communication with drivers, warehouse staff, and customers
- Perform timely data entry and maintain accurate records
- Address and resolve operational issues using effective problem-solving skills
- Manage time efficiently to meet scheduling and shipment deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in dispatching or scheduling roles
