A well-established food manufacturer with 35+ years of success is adding an experienced Electrical Technician to its day shift maintenance team.

This more than an electrical technician role as you'll have the opportunity to work hands-on with 480V power, PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, robotics, servos, instrumentation and automated production equipment while becoming a go-to electrical resource to the plant.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills with 480V, VFDs, and motor controls
• Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled industrial equipment
• Ability to read electrical schematics and independently diagnose problems
• Knowledge of industrial automation, instrumentation, and machine safety
• Food or beverage manufacturing experience strongly preferred
• Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens PLC experience preferred
• Robotics and servo experience is a plus
• NJ electrical license, journeyman card, or apprentice registration is a plus — not required

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot 480V three-phase systems, VFDs, motor controls and automated equipment
• Diagnose PLC-controlled machinery using I/O and ladder logic
• Troubleshoot Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLC/HMI systems
• Work with robotics, servo drives, sensors, instrumentation and safety circuits
• Perform electrical preventative maintenance and help improve equipment reliability
• Identify recurring equipment failures and participate in root-cause analysis
• Read and maintain electrical schematics and technical documentation
• Partner with production and maintenance teams to safely reduce downtime
• Serve as a key electrical resource for troubleshooting and automation support

Occasional overtime and weekend coverage may be required.
