Billing Specialist
LHH is working on behalf of our fantastic client in the Waterbury area who has an immediate healthcare billing staffing need. This role is in the office 5 days/week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client billing for private pay, VA, and multi-payer accounts 60%
- Processing ACH and credit card payments 15%
- Reviewing schedules and authorizations for accurate billing 10%
- Customer service with clients, families, attorneys, LTC insurance providers, and internal teams 10%
- Administrative support, organization, and process improvement 5%
Qualifications:
- 5-6+ years of billing experience preferred
- Healthcare, home care, medical office, or insurance-related billing experience preferred
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Compassionate and customer-service focused
- Reliable with strong work ethic
- Roll-up-your-sleeves mentality
- Patient, professional, and calm when handling clients and families
- Team player who can work through manual processes and ambiguity
Hourly compensation DOE - $23-26/hr
