Assistant Project Manager

The Assistant Project Manager will participate in the planning, directing, and coordinating of foundation construction supporting high-voltage electric transmission, substation, and distribution projects throughout the country. This role involves participating in the conceptual development of these projects and overseeing their organization, scheduling, budgeting, staffing, subcontractors, safety, quality, and implementation.

This is a traveling role and will require up to 100% travel to project locations throughout the west

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Management: Responsible for the lifecycle of a project
• Contract Administration
• Documentation and Reporting
• Stakeholder Communication and Issue Resolution
• Material and Quality Management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in construction management, civil or construction engineering, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1 3 years of experience in project management, field engineering, construction management, or a related role within foundation drilling, deep foundations, concrete construction, utility civil construction, or similar environments.
• Strong technical proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel; experience with construction ERP and project management software such as CMiC or Procore preferred.
• Solid understanding of budget management, industry best practices, and the ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and applicable building codes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with project teams, field personnel, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player; self-starter with proactive problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and multitasking abilities with the capacity to prioritize work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to adjust to changing priorities, schedules, and project conditions.
• Willingness and ability to frequently travel to project sites as required.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
• Must successfully pass mandatory drug and alcohol screenings and a criminal background check.
