In this supportiveeducational environment, you will have the opportunity to work with diverselearners, tailoring your approach to meet their individual needs. This variety offers a high-impact,fulfilling professional experience from now until June 4th, 2027.
What you bring:
- Valid California CTC credential with either an Early Childhood Special Education certification or Mild/Moderate credential with an AAAS certification
- Previous experience in a Special Education teaching capacity, ideally within public schools
- Proven ability to develop and implement IEPs, facilitate small group instruction, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive classroom culture
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving classroom and program needs
What you’ll do:
- Deliver engaging instruction tailored to students’ diverse learning profiles
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress tracking in compliance with district policies
- Collaborate with aides, specialists, and families to outline and achieve student goals
- Employ individualized strategies to ensure all learners’ success
- Participate in all required school meetings and professional development
