Compensation: $30.00–$35.00 per hour – paid weekly
Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday–Thursday | 8:30 AM–4:30 PM

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Mechanical & Design Engineer for an engineering and manufacturing company in Maple Plain, MN. In this role, you'll support manufacturing operations, equipment reliability, product development, and continuous process improvements. • Create and maintain 3D CAD models and detailed manufacturing drawings
• Design tooling, fixtures, jigs, and equipment modifications to improve operations
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and support repairs, maintenance, and process improvements
• Assist with equipment installation, commissioning, and manufacturing launches
• Develop and maintain engineering documentation, BOMs, and revision-controlled drawings
• Conduct product and process testing and document findings and recommendations
• Collaborate with production teams to improve safety, quality, and operational efficiency

What You Need to Bring to the Mechanical & Design Engineer Role:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field; equivalent experience considered
• Background in manufacturing, mechanical design, equipment engineering, or process engineering
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening requirements, if applicable
