Gastroenterology Health & Science Specialist - Los Angeles, CA

Pfizer seeks a field-based specialty sales representative to drive gastroenterology product launches and growth through strategic customer relationships and compliant engagement with healthcare providers and key opinion leaders in the Los Angeles territory.

Responsibilities

• Drive customer engagement and sales performance through in-person interactions with healthcare providers and office staff
• Build compliant relationships and deliver approved promotional and disease-state messaging to support appropriate product use
• Identify account opportunities, prioritize territories, and support patient access via reimbursement and co-pay resources
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners and key opinion leaders to execute promotional strategies and advance business objectives
• Use digital tools and market insights to plan, execute, and optimize territory activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or associate's degree with 8+ years work experience or high school diploma with 10+ years experience
• Minimum 3 years pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales, marketing, or aligned healthcare provider experience
• Valid US driver's license with clean driving record; no DUI/DWI within past 7 years
• Ability to reside within workable distance of assigned territory and travel to all account locations
• 3–5 years specialty sales experience preferably in gastroenterology, immunology, or inflammation (preferred)
• Understanding of complex disease states, biologics, specialty reimbursement, and distribution processes (preferred)
• Digital engagement capability with tools like Veeva Engage and Teams (preferred)

Compensation: $108,600–$250,700 base salary plus sales incentive bonus
